Handbells

St. James currently has two handbell ensembles. The Bells of Saint James is the primary handbell ensemble at St. James. This ensemble is an advanced, five-octave ensemble that participates in handbell festivals and workshops, rings in worship regularly, and presents an annual concert each Fall.

This ensemble rehearses on Wednesday evenings in the gallery from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

The Celebration Ringers is a three-octave ensemble of new ringers who have had little or no prior handbell experience and desire to learn the technique and art of handbell ringing. The Celebration Ringers, in conjunction with the Belles of St. James, also presents an annual concert each Fall. Ringers do not need to have any prior musical experience, just a desire to glorify our Lord and Savior through the ministry of handbells.
